What’s your tool?

There will come a time in each of our lives when we have to step back and take a long look at ourselves and ask ,what are we here for. It is not always evident in some of our lives. I’m learning more and more each and everyday that the things that we as humans think matter really don’t. We but emphasis on things, and not on what we are truly here for. We walk around the earth with no clue, when indeed there are clues everywhere. There are things that we thrive great in, it’s in our lane, but it’s to simple so we discard it and try to fit in a role that we were not even created for. It’s time we stop trying to fit into the mold that someone else has put us in and fill the mold God created us for. Today stop and take along look at what you already have in your possession. You are already equipped with the tools you need to do your job here on earth. Sharpen your tools and get out there and go do the work you were called to do.

Be Blessed,

YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS…

There are things in our lives that we all wish we didn’t have. What you must understand is that some of the things in our lives are there for us to find a solution to,purpose for and to change the world with. If you find something that annoys you, take a closer look at why. If that thing makes you sad, you need to find a solution for it. If you have a burning desire to fix that thing, then go change the world with it. As parents we need to instill in our children to not only be leaders but followers of Jesus Christ not man. We were not simply created to just exist, but to use what God has put on the inside of us and share it with the world. It’s easy to put our children into a box and narrow down what we want them to do with their lives. I am learning, that God has a plan for each and every one of our lives. It’s our duty as parents to invest in our children. Some gifts and talents are not as evident in some people as they are others. We find our purpose by spending time with the one who created us. Take sometime daily and just listen. You might just be surprised at who you have been listening to all along.

Dear Parents,

I am so glad you stopped by today.  I want to tell you that you’re not alone. Being a parent is not easy, infact it’s just plain hard. However, I do know someone who specializes in parenting and his name is God. He’s the one and only parent who gave up his only Son that you and I might live. This parent allowed his one and only son Jesus to be wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, found in Isaiah 53:5-8.

God the father had us on his mind from the very beginning, much like we do our precious little jewels. God has a plan for our lives, but he also left us with instructions. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11-13

The Bible is our handbook for daily living. It shares so much of Jesus’s life while he walked the earth. In John 12:32 Jesus says and I, if I be lifted from the earth, I will draw all men unto me. This means the whole world and our children are a part of it. Join me and so many other parents in letting God draw our children. He knows just what they need, After all he created them. Please stop by on Monday’s and find out how we as parents can raise our children God’s way. I encourage each and ever one of you to leave comments and questions that you may have. We can dissect Gods Word and find out just what God wants for us and our family.
